eMAR Creation and Scheduling
eMAR, or electronic medical administration records, enable a better standard of care through improved delivery of medication. Using eMARs, carers receive specific detailed instructions on what medications need to be administered and when.
Each eMAR contains details of medication type, dosage, strength and frequency. Alerts are automatically sent to carers to ensure service users receive the correct medication on time.
Response types are tracked and can be made mandatory to complete an appointment. This response is then fed back to the administrator to know the status of medication delivery in real time.

Set up eMARs for each Service User
Each service user can have an unlimited number of eMARs. Each eMAR is used to record prescription details – including medication name, dosage, strength, frequency and delivery method. You can select these details from predefined lists or customise with your own specific entries.
A list of expected responses can be set for each eMAR, giving carers a list of options to record the outcome of the medication delivery – from successful to rejection along with the explanation for the response.
eMAR Scheduling and Alerts
Set SMS/text, email or in-app alerts to remind carers to deliver meds on time. eMARs are fully integrated with carer rotas, so medication details appear as tasks to complete on each call.
Real Time Communications
Knowing what medication has been delivered, to whom, in real time, provides administrators with assurance that everything is on track.
Response types are used to record the outcome of the medication delivery. Specific response types can be configured to record the exact reason for a range of delivery outcomes – positive or negative.
If anything changes in the eMAR – such as changes to dose or frequency – the care worker’s schedule and appointment details are updated in real time. Timely communication of prescription changes prevents dosage mistakes and improves care quality.
