12 Carers of Christmas 2021

Two years ago we started with a partridge in a pear tree and we finished with dozens of heart warming and inspiring stories from home care providers around the UK. If you’d like to brighten up your day with some of those uplifting stories from the original 12 Carers of Christmas they are are still available here.

It was such a source of joy and insight that we are delighted to be opening up nominations for 2021!

Once again, we are calling for home care managers, colleagues, spouses, pets… in fact anyone at all to recommend a carer they think deserves some extra recognition this Christmas. So get writing and help us celebrate home carers!

Competition rules are simple. You have 200 words to tell us why you think your nominee deserves recognition this season. We will pick 12 winners and publish their stories in the run up to Christmas. Each carer we feature will receive their picture and story on our website, along with a £50 Amazon voucher!
